OUR HISTORY
1. Where it all began (Year 1965)
Started in a humble Malaysian home, crafting canvas products with a single sewing machine.
This marked the beginning of our manufacturing journey.
2. Building a craft (Year 1974 )
Expanded into our first workshop and grew from military canvas
products into umbrella and industrial canvas manufacturing.
3. A new generation (Year 2017)
The third generation established a 60,000 sq ft facility, bringing
advanced manufacturing capabilities and a vision for sustainability.
4.The birth of Remadesia (Year 2026)
Remadesia was established to transform surplus materials into purposeful
products through craftsmanship, innovation, and circular thinking.
THE PROBLEM WE OBSERVED
Industrial Canvas Waste
Large volumes of tarpaulin and canvas materials from banners, canopies, truck covers, and events are discarded after short-term use.
Long-Term Environmental Impact
These materials are non-biodegradable and can remain in landfills for hundreds of years, contributing to plastic pollution and microplastic leakage.
Valuable Materials Going to Waste
Despite their durability and performance, tarpaulin and canvas materials are frequently discarded after short-term use. 80+ years to decompose in landfills, resulting in wasted resources and long-term environmental impact.
Growing ESG Pressure
